I' m glad when I'm meting young, fresh and new people. Exactly like this people is Sandra Birklbauer. I ask her about herself, her photos and her point of view about art and life. Look what she said:
Very early I discovered my creativity and the wish working in that occupational field. Since I am 16 I didn't loose the passion for photography, it even got stronger. The more I got into it and immerse myself in the material the more fascinating it was. Photography isn't just a medium for expressing myself, althought it is an important part of it, but offers the possibility to moderate an idea and find a visual language for it. For me Photography and emotions belong together and can't be seen seperated. A successful photo is a photo wich speaks directly to the heart of the viewer. And that is the challenge for me.
For me the goal for a professional photographer is not just taking eye catching pictures, but being a photographer means be aware of the responibility which is attached to this medium. That's why its essential to look into the theory of photography and deal with mediology. You should keep in mind that images have a strong power to control people, their minds and their behaviour.
They can also form and change a culture with creating an illusion and a different reality. Only because of looking through the view finder of a camera, you get a different view at the world. The environment can be seen in a different way and only shows a small, selected part of the world. Thats also the reason why photography is said to be very manipulative. In my opinion it is manipulative. The resposibility for a photographer is to be aware of that and find a way to deal with that.
In my case I often dispense with taking pictures of personal happenings and document every step I make. For me its more important to live and experience the moment with every sense, and I don't want to miss that with getting a second hand experience through a view finder. I would loose a special moment in my life which is not repeatable.
In matter of fact I don't want to accept. The question for reality is automatically sticked to photography and is important for me and my work as a photographer. Finally I want to ask you a question, which possibly will change your way of thinking and acting and might help getting a different point of view. If you don't have any images of an happening, has it happened?“

And my answer to her question is: Yeah, it has happen but only in my mind :) Let's check now what is happening in her mind...
If you want to see what else is on her mind just see her portfolio and don' t be shy to say Hi to her ;)

Prekrasnosti!
Nice job! I like it :)
