" With the arrival of Second Life, avatars have finally found their own world, and now the real world has become aware of the power of avatars. " Sexclown", my Summer 2008 collection, combines this new digital lifeform with another all- time classic fascination of mine, fetishism, a theme that makes a strong comeback in my work.
Fantasising about new types of Future Fetishism, I created a group of strong, self- conscious men, proudly presenting their masculinity and body diversity. I wanted them to look like they just stepped out of the digital world, as pure fantasy characters, with strongly articulated shoulders, hips and waistlines."
